Spring 2012 Series

All Vancouver English Country Dance events are held at the same venue:

upstairs at the Legion Hall (Billy Bishop Branch)
1407 Laburnum Street (north of Cornwall, in Kitsilano)

Dances are lead by June Harman and Peggy Roe, with additional calling by Bob Rentz. The dances are organized into two series:
The "open stage" series
4 - 7 pm
$10 or what you can; free for callers and band members

April 27 - 29, 2012: Seattle's Cascadia English Country Dance Weekend: dances led by Jenny Beer, music by Northwest musicians coordinated by Kimberly McKittrick.

May 4 - 6, 2012: Winnipeg's Circling Round Workshop and Ball with guest instructor Joanna Reiner and The Fine Companions.

June 2, 2012: Mayne Island's annual ball.

September 7-9, 2012: Victoria's Hands Across the Water: workshops with Kalia Kliban, music by The Dancehall Players.

November 3, 2012: Portland's English Country Ball Weekend.
